Beach Information
I’ve heard that The Crane is on the Atlantic side of the island; is the beach safe for swimming?
Protected by a natural coral reef just about where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea, Crane Beach boasts one of the best swimming venues on the island of Barbados. Besides being safe and having a gentle descent from shallow to deep, it's also soft on your feet as there are no sea urchins, stones or coral underneath. However, we are located on the southeast coast of Barbados, where at times the sea current could become strong. Caution should be taken at all times.
